The first day. Well, kinda.

Welcome to the Starcraft Armor Project blog.  My name is Brandon, and I'll be attempting to explain what the hell we're trying to do with all of this in this blog post.  But first, how about I tell you a little bit about myself?
I'm 22, working in a quality control lab at Arizona Nutritional Supplements, which is a pretty sweet gig, but I wanted to start doing something awesome with my new income (since I recently graduated college, and don't really have any idea how to spend money anymore).  I am single and not living with any authority figures, and thus, there's nobody to tell me how terrible of an idea this is or how much time it will take.
So, basically, I'm going to be making Starcraft armor.  Don't know what Starcraft is?  Not a big deal, just you're probably not going to be as excited about this as I am.  Basically, it's a top-down strategy game involving humans vs various aliens vs each other, and the humans all wear some form of spacesuit or armor or whatever.  So that's where these pictures come in handy to explain, since I'm making five different types of armor for this.

Marine
Firebat
Reaper
Medic
Ghost
So that's that, I suppose.  Oh, yeah, my YouTube account is ProjectSCArmor.
Right now we're planning to make all of the armor plates out of hard plastic through Vacuform and I want to make the moulds for the pieces out of ceramic so that they can be reused.
This IS getting done at some point, though it may take a year if it gets really complicated.  I'll have a video explanation out pretty soon, so we'll see how it goes.  Anyways, enjoy whatever you're doing.
